I love the thrill of being in Court and thinking on my feet. I also enjoy analyzing and unpacking complex legal problems. At the heart of it, I am a problem solver.
I enjoy getting to know my clients, learning about their businesses and families, and deploying my rare skills to solve their problems. Armed with the unique perspectives of my clients, my experience in advocacy, and with the help of the outstanding award-winning lawyers at Miller Thomson LLP, I set out to methodically untangle my clients’ problems, one knot at a time.

my parents are both Vietnamese “boat people” political refugees who arrived in Canada in the late 70s. As part of the vibrant Vietnamese newly-landed immigrant community, they met at a community ballroom dance party in Toronto. My mom came as the date of a well-known local barber. My dad cut into their dance a few times throughout the night; by the end of the dance, the barber was dateless and my dad had a new girlfriend
